Come along and dance with two funky bands – Julia Anwar Trio & The Deepfakes – at King River Tavern on Saturday night 22nd of August!
It’s King River Tavern publican, Sam’s birthday and to celebrate Julia Anwar Trio and the Deepfakes will be playing funky music for your dancing pleasure.

Julia Anwar Trio is fronted by Julia Anwar, a powerhouse vocalist, supported by her own funky guitar playing and her husband Mark on drums, and David Rastrick on bass.
The Deepfakes are David Rastrick on guitar—with too much wah— and vocals, Jake Knight on bass guitar and Greg Watson on drums.
Both bands play a lot of covers you’ll love, including many you’ll know, and can sing along to with feature original songs in the mix.
